"Celebrities" Vultures
Hello folks,
So I am watching Sky TV, which I am overpaying as it is, because apparently I need to pay rent for the cable in the wall that belongs to another company, and some “Free To Talk” charge, which makes no sense at all. But actually it is a charge that enables me to actually use internet, and have Cable TV, because if that charge is turned off, nothing will work. I call all of these 50EURO extra costs bullshit.
As I said, I was watching TV and a nice commercial comes up about some celebrity or other and how we must buy a “pick a name of any tabloid” to learn more about a scandalous action / behaviour of an X / Y celebrity.
It just reminded me, how vile really such “reporters” are and the excuse they have, “the public has a right to know” is one of the biggest cop outs since “Jesus died for our sins, so I can hurt people, lie cheat and kill. I will repent, say few prayers and I will be forgiven, because Jesus is an awesome guy that died for my sins - bullshit.”
Don’t even let me get started with the paparazzi vultures. There should be a law, giving the victims of such stalking type of privacy invaders a licence to shoot them. However, they would be out of a job if there wouldn’t be a market for their tabloid “news” and “artistic photos”.
I mean, who cares who slept with whom, who divorced who. I don’t care who is on drugs nor has an alcohol problem. I watch movies, for the movies. I listen music, because I like it and if the actor / singer is openly gay or so far in the closet, that he / she lives in Narnia, I could not care less.
Why are people obsessing so much about celebrity private lives? If they would put so much effort into their own lives and relationships, they would be much happier.
By all means, they should report when celebrities are standing up for victims of war, or for some other humanist issue. Those things, should be known because they lead by example. They are shedding a light on crucial issues of today, like “Gender Equality” or “Gay Rights”. But to stalk them in their homes, hoping to catch them in their underwear or some other compromising position, seriously, what kind of a person does that?
They are people just like everyone else, with their own faults, quirks, issues, fears, desires, dreams and goals. They have to deal with brutal and unforgiving public opinions. At times paparazzi scum gets punched in the face because of it and they act as victims as they sue the said celebrity, which was in its rights to beat the shite out of the said vulture. They have to do what they can to shield their families from such vulturesand so called “Reporters”.
Not to mention, the environmental impact caused by printing the said tabloids. How many trees had to die so some stupid magazine was issued, with the front page title? “X /Y are wearing this season blue dress on the red carpet, when the color of the years is purple? What was she thinking? As if the fucking world will end.
I do declare, sometimes I despair at what people obsesses today.
Till next time,
