A snapshot of the Man Behind the Pen

I am a Soldier, a Writer, and a Poet. I am a man with a wide range of skills—one of which you can see a sample of in my "Writing" section.

I wrote my first story when I was about ten years old. It was heavily influenced by The Lord of the Rings, which I had read shortly before my initial attempt to write my own. Since then, I have been dedicated to the craft of writing and to honing my skills.

During high school, I wrote for the school paper and acted as its editor for the latter two years. After graduating, I enlisted in the army and committed 16 years to service. All the experiences I had in that time, I believe, have made me a better writer, especially in regards to the historical aspects of my trilogy and my specific knowledge of the ancient Roman Army and how it fought. One of the reasons why I joined the Ancient Roman Military Re-Enactment group. Writers write about things they know the best.

In 2015, I resigned from the military service, sold everything, and moved from Slovenia to Ireland. I figured, as I was already writing my first book for almost 8 years and had researched for 20+ years, I might as well go to the country, which has produced great writers such as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, and Bram Stoker.

However, since I am one of those modern writers who doesn't feel like starving to death while creating his masterpiece and hoping to come up with lines that will echo through eternity, I got myself a job in aviation.
